Maintenance Tips

• Regular Cleaning: Wipe the bumper plates with a damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and chalk. Dry them immediately to prevent moisture buildup, which can cause damage.
• Avoid Dropping on Hard Surfaces: Although designed for heavy impact, avoid dropping the plates on concrete or uneven surfaces to prevent the rubber from cracking or the metal insert from loosening.
• Store Properly: Store bumper plates on a flat, stable surface or use a weight rack to prevent warping and ensure they stay securely in place.
• Inspect for Damage: Check the plates regularly for cracks, chips, or any signs of wear. If any damage is found, retire the plate to avoid injury or further damage.
• Keep Dry: Store bumper plates in a dry area to prevent moisture from causing rust on the metal insert or degradation of the rubber.
• Inspect the Metal Insert: Periodically check the metal insert for rust or looseness. If any issues arise, stop using the plate and replace or repair it.
